There’s something tender and fierce about those quiet feeding moments — the way your baby’s eyelashes flutter, the softness of skin-on-skin, the way time seems to bend and blur when they curl into your arms.

Whether you're in the thick of cluster feeds or long past your last latch, breastfeeding photography isn’t just about the milk — it's about the connection. These fleeting moments deserve to be remembered.

A Breastfeeding Chapter Worth Remembering

I breastfed both my children until they were three. That’s a lot of hours logged! Some sweet, some frustrating, and some downright tear-soaked. There were definitely days I wanted to give up. Nights I cried while nursing because I felt like it was never ending, I was in pain, and sleep deprived. Moments I thought, "I can’t do this anymore!" But there were also sunlit mornings when they rested their hand on my heart, and I felt like time froze. Those quiet moments where they fell asleep, milk drunk, still latched. And those moments where our eyes met and I could feel the connection, where they smiled or laughed, then kept nursing.

Those memories? I wish I had more photos of them. Not just the sleepy phone selfies, but the kind that show how it felt. That soft blur of baby hair. The look we gave each other like we were the only two people in the world.

And that’s why I offer breastfeeding sessions now: to capture the in-between.

It’s about more than breastfeeding

If you're combo feeding, exclusively pumping, bottle feeding, chestfeeding, or you’ve weaned already, you still deserve to remember the closeness that grew in those early days. It's not about how your baby was fed. It’s about how you loved them.

These sessions are about the quiet, beautiful bond that’s unique to your story.

Why moms book these sessions

  • To freeze the fleeting (because it ends before you realize it)
  • To reclaim a journey that felt hard and beautiful
  • To celebrate making it through the messy, magical early days
  • To hold on to the way their child looked at them in those quiet moments

Some of my clients are still nursing. Others are years past that chapter, but book a motherhood session that celebrates the journey they had.

All of it is valid. All of it is worth remembering.

If you’ve already weaned…

This part is for you: You didn’t miss your chance.

Photos aren’t just for right now — they’re for remembering. If you’re on the other side of your feeding journey, you can still book a session that captures your story. The snuggles, the closeness, the way your child tucks into your chest? That’s still here.

It’s never too late to celebrate what you've been through and who you’ve become.
